The Oponganda Pre-Primary & DayCare kindergarten honoured Namibia's birthday with a small celebration. The children first sang the national anthembefore refreshing themselves with a large melon cut into pieces. Traditional dances performed by children and teachers alike created enthusiasm on both sides. And finally, under the watchful eyes of the children, Elizabeth cut the big birthday cake decorated with the colours of the Namibian flag. After helping themselves to a piece or two :-) the children spent the rest of the morning playing on the jungle gym.
