Luca
volunteered
at
Oponganda
from
November
2021
until
September
2022.
He
had
to
get
used
to
working
and
playing
with very young children. After a bit of a bumpy start our volunteer from the ACS Göttingen found his feet.
He
supported
the
implementation
of
a
regular
physical
education
program
for
preschool
children
(3-6
years).
It
was
a
big
challenge
for
him
to
guide
the
children’s
enthusiasm
and
excitement
in
the
right
directions.
But
thanks
to
his
patience,
the
children
soon
understood
the
difference
between
running
around
in
the
playground
and
the
variety
of
exercises,
games
and
activities
offered
to
them
every
week.
The
steady
progress
the
children
made
was
easy
to
observe.
Luca
also
included
the
teachers
and
gave
them
helpful
support
so
that
they
can
continue
with
some
of
the
exercises now.
We
are
deeply
grateful
that
Luca
gave
his
time
and
energy
to
our
Oponganda
children.
From
the
bottom
of
our
hearts,
we
wish
him
all
the
best
for
whatever
his
future
plans
are.
And
we
sincerely
hope
that
he
will
return
to
our
beautiful
Namibia and visit Oponganda. -
